In this class series, we will train safe locomotion between low (rolling and sliding), mid (quadrupedal movement), and high levels (bipedal movement), using the floor as our compass. We will demystify mechanics for simple arm balances, shoulder rolls and other spiraling coordinations. The floor is a grounding and orienting device for folks new to learning brief movement sequences—so we will work from the floor up! Please wear long pants, sleeves that cover shoulders and socks. Kneepads are not necessary but can be supportive. All levels of experiences are welcome. *This class may not be suitable for those with wrist injuries.*
